Dear Patient:
Your safety and well-being are of the utmost importance to Endodontics of Maryland. As our country and the world continue to deal with the effects of COVID-19, we write to inform you about the AAE’s and American Dental Association’s (ADA) newest guidelines and recommendations for seeking dental care.
The AAE has recommended limiting non-urgent dental treatment and we intend to do so while remaining available to any patient who seeks emergency care. Please be advised that our hours may change, and we may close on the basis of demand for our services. We will only be seeing patients who are in need of urgent or emergency care. If you or your patients are in pain and need care immediately, call 410-997-7668 or email us at the office- root.canal.doctor.555@gmail.com.
We are working to provide our community with safe treatment options.
In addition to following the guidance from the CDC, Endodontics of Maryland has updated our sanitation policies to prevent the spread of the virus. We are disinfecting our offices’ common areas like patient waiting rooms and check-in desks more frequently, limiting interpersonal interactions (social distancing), and we are providing pre-operative mouth rinse with enhanced vigilance. For scheduled patients that are feeling ill or have been in contact with someone that has tested positive for the virus, their appointment will be rescheduled 14 days later.
We are here to support you and will play our part to fight the spread of coronavirus. If you need more support or clarification, please call the office or email: root.canal.doctor.555@gmail.com
Please stay safe and take steps to exercise extreme caution.
Sincerely,
Dr. Raksha Mirchandani

Surgically Clean Air
Air quality is extremely important in an endodontist’s office. After all, any time you visit us, be it for a routine checkup or a major procedure, you’ll end up sitting in that chair with your mouth open for a long period of time. While this position makes it much easier to get at your teeth, it can also leaves you pretty exposed to airborne toxins, molds, and germs that could cause illness or infection.
This is a particularly major concern this time of year, when the flu virus is spreading across workplaces, schools, and households like wildfire. That’s why you want to make sure your endodontist’s office takes particular care with its air quality.
High-Quality Filtration for a High-Need Industry.
We take air quality and infection control very seriously. We want you to be able to sit in that chair with complete peace of mind that you’re opening up to keep your teeth white, healthy, and strong—not to welcome in mold spores, the cold virus, and the flu. That’s why, when it comes to air filtration, we prefer to err on the side of caution.
Say Hello to Our Little Friend.
The Surgically Clean Air system is the best of the best when it comes to air filtration. While standard air purifiers work to clean some of the particles with a simple one-stage filter, our medical-grade indoor air cleaning system has a 6-stage filtration process that is designed specifically to weed out harmful particulates of every shape and size.
What’s more, the Surgically Clean Air system has the power to scrub every breath of air in our office before it gets re-circulated. This can be an issue with standard air purifiers that, due to limited power, often doesn’t have enough circulation to properly cleanse all of the air. What’s more, the Surgically Clean Air system operates whisper-quiet, making it much easier to relax (as much as one does in an endodontist’s chair, anyhow).
Some might call it overkill. But to us, your health, safety, and peace of mind is worth it.

"I had an emergency root canal done today. I was so nervous. The office staff and Dr. Mirchandani made my experience the best out of the situation I was in. Customer service with a one on one feel was amazing. She listened to my concerns and communicated everything they were doing through the procedure. I wish this team could be my normal dentist practice."
