Dr. Raksha Mirchandani is a board certified endodontist. She is a graduate of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and completed her Graduate Endodontic Training from University of Maryland. She completed her oral pathology training from Georgetown University.
She is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Endodontics at John’s Hopkins Medical Center,where she practices and also teaches GPR residents. Her clinical specialties include: Diagnostic dilemmas and micro-endodontics including surgery and oral diseases/pathology. She was the president of the Penick Endodontic study club and is a member of ADA, MSDA, IDA . She loves travelling, pilates, yoga, swimming and reading. |

Dr. Afua Mireku is a board certified endodontist. She was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. She attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for both her undergraduate studies and dental education. There she earned her BS in Biopsychology and DDS, respectively. After dental school, she moved to Maryland and attended the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dentistry where she completed an Advanced General Dental Residency in 2005, earned her certification in Endodontics in 2007, and Masters in Biomedical Science in 2008. Dr. Mireku became a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2014. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Greater Chesapeake branch of the Seattle Study Club. She is an author of a children's dental book, YaYa's Wiggle Tooth, and in her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the violin, and travelling.
